Loves Delicious Covid-19 Update
Here are some things we are doing to continue to protect all our clients moving forward…
Since the launch of LovesDelicious®… back in February 2008, we have been Food Safety Certified by Serve Safe, and have always followed the health and safety requirements of the Health Department, to keep both our clients and our staff healthy and safe.
We have done so by:
•Requiring chefs to have a valid Food Safety Handlers Card.
•Practicing what LD calls our “Touch and Wash” policy. If you touch anything, wash your hands upon finishing the task and proceeding the next.
•Utilizing gloves during food prep, and changing them regularly with hand washing in between.
•Disinfecting and sanitizing all food prep surfaces at the hosts sight prior to any prep commencement.
•All food handlers, from chef, to servers are to remain smoke free while onsite.
•No co-mingling of money and food products during food service.
•No LD Team Member is allowed at host site on date of service, if they have recently or are currently experiencing any symptoms of illness.
Over the past 12 years, because we have practiced the above mentioned intentionally without deviating, we have kept clients and their guests safe and food borne illness free! This is a stat of ours that we take pride in, and are diligent about keeping.
In order to continue to provide all our clients with our exceptional white-glove experience, amid Coronavirus upsurge, we remain updated on preventative measures of transmission and requirements of the Health Department and CDC.
We have made additions to our service standard. We are now requiring all LD team members to take and record body temperature prior to entering hosts site on date of service. All our chefs, and food prep partners must wear a spit guard mask.
